Livia , Thats wonderful that hes doing well! Yeah, Id change it to 37.5. Some variation in hatch dates is normalanywhere between 25 and 31 days (or 32-38 days for Muscovies). It will need to sit around and wait for a while before its ready to hatch. }
If they still havent externally pipped, it sounds like youll need to make that breathing hole before they run out of oxygen. It was day 30 and they kept saying, another day! I experienced that situation early this year as well, except with a gosling. Have you any advice please really dont want my ducklings to die!!

Have I ruined the hatching . So if the duckling was indeed zipping, it should have been able to escape the shell before long. The other one was also. Humidity is a tricky thing to get right. Today at 11am it pipped some more and continued to do so most of the day. If there are no eggs that have externally pipped, or if the egg you want to assist is the only one with an external pip, opening the incubator is not a risk. Its amazing that the one with fluid in its nostrils survived! Im not sure what you mean when you say the duck is bobbing back and forth to the open part of the egg, but one common sign that a duckling is still absorbing the yolk is if its opening its mouth or yawning.
