The Broads Fork trailhead starts in Big Cottonwood Canyon in the same parking lot as the Lake Blanche trailhead. One of the hardest hikes I've done. But the climb to the ridge is dicey. We camped overnight and climbed the summit in the morning. After reaching the northwest end of the saddle, facing northwest, you'll notice a wide steep slab of rock below the ridgeline. There is a very nice sandy hollow off one of the side trails once you reach the meadow and stream, about 2.3 miles in.
